So has he been introduced to the new trilogy yet? I'd be curious to see, experimentally, if children would prefer the new movies to the older (and objectively) better movies.
Oddly enough, the original trilogy is probably the last of the mainstream Star Wars universe that Xander and Emily have yet to be exposed to. Of the new trilogy, they've seen all but Episode III (the charred bodies, amputations, and slaughtered children are a bit much). They've seen all of the Clone Wars series. They've played many of the games. I can't really explain why I waited until now to show them the original trilogy, but in a way, I think it's better this way. Neither Emily nor Xander have ever cared much for Episode I or Episode II, but they both seem to really enjoy Episode IV.
